# User Notifications

> Receive notifications for key events through your individual account

## Overview

Each user can configure their individual preferences for receiving notifications about Terminal events.
These events include:

* New connection is created
* Connection is reconnected
* Connection is disconnected
* Unsupported provider is requested
* [Crash Report](/terminal-platform/crash-reports) is generated

For each event, the user has the option to be notified within the Terminal Dashboard, by email, or both.

Terminal does not currently provide first-party notification destinations for Slack or Microsoft Teams. If you need Terminal events to appear in Slack or Teams, use [webhooks](/terminal-platform/webhooks) to route those events through your own automation.

<Info>
  **Note:** Users will only receive crash report notifications when Crash
  Reporting is enabled in the application-wide settings. For more information,
  see the [Crash Reports configuration
  options](/terminal-platform/crash-reports#configuration-options).
</Info>
